I have a dream ...
If flowers were all the same, would you find them interesting? If everything that surrounds us only had one color, would you be able to distinguish them? Well, maybe you could but it would certainly be a boring world.
Would you like to live in a world where there is no diversity? A world where everything looks the same, stays the same and there is no change? I personally don’t!
I certainly dream of living in a world where everybody is the same in the sense of equality. Where everybody has the freedom to choose their own life path as individuals, no matter if they are men or women, rich or poor or neither should the skin colour determined that.
We all have a purpose in this world, and we all should have the freedom to become doctors, enginners, dancers, politicians, teachers or whatever we would like to become. We should all be able to feel proud of who we are and have the freedom to make choices.
My family had taught me to be independent and self-motivated. Throughout my life i had the opportunity to learn with my mistakes and trials. I can say that it only made me a stronger person. My childhood experiences had a huge influence in who i am today. I have always been someone who dreamed a lot, i lived in a kind of my own fairytale world.
I was given a remarkable amount of freedom at such a young age where I had the chance to explore the world, try new things and allowed to fail.
I always try to reflect upon why do people struggle to act upon their dream? Is that because of the fear of failure, insecurity or perhaps the fear of what other people would think or say. Whatever that reason is, it certainly holds you back from persuing your dreams.
Even if there are many obstacles in life, you always tend to keep moving forward and try to become a better version of yourself. Constant and never ending improvement is very vital in progressing in life. It enhances your personality and also whatever you would like to improve. It helps you to learn from your own mistakes.
Every person has the right to dream, though these dreams may be absolutely illusive, because there is nothing plain and simple in this world and the life will be bright, multi-colored and vivid only when we let us believe in it and see how dynamic and changeable it may be.
In my point of view some people think that they would live for five hundred years, and it becomes a habit to postpone all important things for tomorrow. Never do this, take each day as it comes, be grateful and take one step at the time. And soon you will notice that all you dreams will drop from the clouds. Ahh and remember to learn how to embrace failure!
Failure can be used as a powerful motivation tool to keep on going. I always like to say that dreaming is the easiest part of the journey. Taking actions toward making the dreams come true are the hardest. It requires commitment, time, desire and courage. The only true limits you experience in life are those you create or those you allow others to impose upon you.
If you look back in history of Humanity, many of the people that have impacted the world came from humble beginnings. So, how would the world be if they had chosen to turn away from their own dream?Always remember that: "If you can dream it, you can do it!", because after all, dreaming is recognising and embracing our potentialities and seeking it throughout all the areas of our lifes.
But from my experience I can surely say, that, of course, just dreaming is not always enough, you must also work hard to accomplish them. Believe in your dreams and believe in the ability to accomplish them!
Keep a positive mindset and never cease to have faith in yourself because that day will come! It might not be today; it might not be tomorrow. But, someday it will become reality!
