WOOD CABIN & Ski tour

WOOD CABIN & Ski tour

For someone like me, born in an island by the tropical, survivingthe cold and, dark winter can indeed be challenging! The secret lyes on trying to adapt to the changing seasons in a way that you can truly enjoy all the beautiful things that each season has to offer. Although i must confess that i consider myself being mostly a summer girl.

Anyways, this week i finally had some few days off from the university and decided to go on a mini ski trip with my family to Sweden. By doing so, we have discovered my new favorite getaway place! A place where time stands still and the sound of nature and the crackling fireplace, are the only things you can hear!

Located in Hallandsåsen ( southern Sweden), lies the most beautiful, intimate and rustic log cabins surrounded by oak trees in the middle of a forest - WOOD CABIN

It feels amazing to be surrounded by the nature! The wood cabin is built according to ancient craft traditions, with a cosy rustic interior. It is simply furnished, but there is everythingyou need to spend some quality time with your family. It invites you for a cozy and comfortable holidays. There are three fine rooms, 1 bathroom with shower and washing machine. By the large living room, you can warm up by the brick fireplace, where the golden flames can be seen through the glass. Just outside the cabin there is a terrace where you can sit and contemplate the beautiful scenery.

My daughter truly loved this place! Specially because only 5 km away, there is a ski resort called Vallåsen. This is indeed the perfect place to go skiing with your kids, specially when they are only beginners. Besides, it is only 2 hours drive from Copenhagen. You can even just do a one-day skiingtrip to warm up before the annual skiing holiday or for those of you who did not plan a ski trip this yearit is a good place to feel the feeling of having skis. This is my second time skiing ever, so for me is definitely a way to keep it up.  [Last year we went on a family ski trip to Austria ( Soldem) where i have learned how to ski]. At Valåsen ski resort it is also possible to learn how to ski as well as it is possible to rent ski equipment.  So you do not need to have tried skiing  before or neither you need to be equipped from home. Well, maybe some ski clothes so that you avoid having to buy them more expensive at the ski resort.

Me and my family are having a wonderful time out here, so i would defently recommend this place.

With love,
